Huntsville Ballet Company

Ahead of the 2025 Nutcracker season, Hville Blast interviewed Phillip Otto, the Artistic Director of Huntsville Ballet Company, on his work with the ballet.

I chose to begin the video with an interesting tidbit from his childhood that shows his passion for ballet. This catches the viewer’s attention before committing to watching the video. On impactful moments, I made sure to focus on clips of Phillip speaking instead of the dancers.

The soundtrack is Dance of the Reed Flutes, which appears in The Nutcracker.

The final CTA prompts viewers to purchase tickets for The Nutcracker, which supports the mission of the Huntsville Ballet Company as explained previously in the video.

The filming, editing, and copy were done by me.


Hville Blast: Spotify Wrapped

We all know the Spotify Wrapped is coming every year, and major brands will hop on the trend with a moment’s notice.

Ahead of 2025’s Wrapped, I planned what statistics we would include so that the team would be ready on release day.

With a quick turnaround time + plenty of quick approvals from the team, I produced Hville Blast’s 2025 Wrapped by End of Day.

Relevancy is important, and that means prioritizing content while the piece is timely.


Blue Oak BBQ

My Social Media Marketing class partnered with a local BBQ restaurant to revamp their social media strategy.

I created this reel to highlight a little known facet of their menu: rotating daiquiri flights. This reel instantly became one of their top 5 highest performing pieces of content, garnering 409 likes and 411 shares. The company’s main location in New Orleans partnered with Kendall Jenner, producing similar shares to this reel.

My strategy? I knew that people wanted a novelty item to share with their friend. Bonus points for allowing them to try all the drink flavors at a restaurant where they do not yet have a favorite.

My team created a social media strategy for them to meet client needs, which was presented to their CEO and business partners. This reel’s filming, editing, and copy were done completely by me. Later, the copy was updated with their new flavors.


Loona’s Cafe Soft Media Opening

Hville Blast was invited to a media soft opening of Huntsville’s latest popular brunch spot: Loona’s Cafe. I attended the event along with my boss, Elizabeth Hobbs, to film content and interview the owner on different plans for the space.

Through an interview with the owner, we got the inside scoop that Loona’s was starting a run club. We published the information and Huntsville was buzzing with news of a run club attached to a brunch spot.

The reel took off, with 40k+ views, ~ 2300 likes, 2010 shares and 416 saves. This reel was mostly filmed by me with clips included from Elizabeth.

When filming, we wanted to focus on human faces as much as possible to help keep viewers engaged. We made sure to film food, the owners and the namesake while keeping flow from outside to inside the restaurant.

The editing and copy were completed by me.
